What to say about this one, well firstly I hope it’s not too dark! I’m afraid on a laptop the brightness depends a bit on what angle you’re looking at the screen from. Second this image is all about the first panel, which I just felt compelled to draw, I think the rest came together quite well though, if once again it is quite cheeky…

I plead innocence! Ok onto the story (there always is one with my images) So Ravens Father was an Icelandic storm-shaman and her mother was a powerful earth based goddess (nature) worshiper. The two disappeared (with out a trace) leaving Raven (then 8) to be brought up with her good natured Uncle (Cyborg (Gadget) who loved his missing sister deeply, though he never understood her, but was highly tolerant of her practices). Raven was given all her parents belongings, one of which was a pendent, Raven followed in her parents footsteps, learning their ways from leftover books, at 12 she accidentally released Beastboy (A young Nordic mischief spirit) from the pendent while trying to contact spirits to find out what happened to her parents, Beastboy was then also ‘12’, and through a series of events became befriended with Raven and decided to stay with her, taking the form of Brain (the dog) when in his ‘public persona’. Note that the two have an entirely platonic friendship until just before this image, where they are assumed to be a fare bit older (i.e. 18+). Now Raven helps her Uncle fight M.A.D with her spiritual and technological knowledge while travelling the world looking for clues about her parents.

Few, well that’s it, hope it came out well enough, One more currently on the books for this series, and possibly one more after that.
