By  Since Freefall Jones began to leave me in the dust by penciling AND coloring his own Starfire, I figured I'd better learn to color in Photoshop myself. I've done some shading and cleanup stuff in Photoshop, but this is my first full-blown pencil and color job, all from scratch. I realized about halfway through that it would've been SOOO much easier to draw Terra in her Titans costume, but I just LOVE her apprenctice armor. And it would've been SOOOOOO much easier to draw her hair down and in front of her eye, but just as with our Raven work, I just HAD to do an action shot. And unfortunately for me, hair doesn't sit still when in action. There are a few things wrong with it; the glow around her hands is pretty weak, the rock is a little sloppy, and her face looks a little narrow, but overall I'm happy with it. And it's been so long since I've done anything Titans that I owed everyone one. Now excuse me while I go ice my right hand... -Son of Gigan |
